I was very happy to discover a newspaper source for more Scorchy Smith Sundays. During the summer of 1949, most of the papers that carried the syndicate strip - Dickie Dare, Patsy, Oaky, and Scorchy - switched over to NEA or more nationally known syndicate strips. Not sure why. But that era of 1949 to 1953 Sundays was impossible to find. No more. Will be uploading strips starting with the end of August, picking up where I had left off.
